Meet the two beauties behind Zeenya Clothing! These girls are changing the way women think and how they feel when they put on their active wear (I am wearing a pair of these amazing leggings as I write this blog - maximum comfort!)
Both Chloe and Sarah wanted to bring a label to us that was more than just another pair of leggings! As women we are all unique, individual and wonderful in our own ways just like the Zeenya leggings! Each print is ethically sourced, made and chosen by the girls and all prints are one off so once they are gone they don’t come back. I am lucky enough to ambassador for these amazing girls!

How did you girls become friends?We met while working in the same office at Sport Waikato in 2012 and then went on an epic holiday to Brazil the following year. How did you come up with the name Zeenya?We wanted to use a Portuguese word, the native language to Brazil where our clothing is made.  We have changed the spelling (Zinha) so it is sounds like it should sound (Zee-nya).  It is an affectionate addition to a friends name e.g Chloezinha What does Zeenya represent as a brand?The values behind our brand are Positive, Energetic and Mindful .  Meaning we are all about empowering women via their clothing - bright, colourful activewear that brings happiness and joy.  The mindful aspect of our brand means our clothing is produced ethically we know where it comes from, who makes it and that it is printed in a eco friendly way on biodegradable fabric. What events does Zeenya have planned over the next few months?”Bad Child" Pop up shop in Mt Maunganui (17 December), Community HIT class Mt Maunganui (TBC January), Epic Yoga 5.0 (10th February, Auckland Region), Wanderlust Great Lake Taupo (8-11th March), Whaiora Spirited Women Adventure Race (18th March, Ohope Beach). What makes Zeenya different?Limited Edition prints means you are always unique, it is a brand for active women who care about how their clothing is produced, our product is ethiclally produced from biodegradable fabric, with low waste. What is your favourite pair of Zeenya tights?Don't make us choose!! What is your favourite activity to do in your tights?Running, Walking and drinking wine haha (Chloe), Yoga and Running and drinking coffee (Sarah) What is one health or wellness tip you could share with everyone?Eat your greens and for your sanity don't worry about what others think just do what makes you happy.
